Will LeBron James and the Heat Win 4 or More...
No.
There are a number of factors that make this scenario all but impossible.
1. The Oklahoma City Thunder. They have already proven that they belong in the NBA Finals, and you could argue that they arrived there ahead of schedule. Now that they have experienced their first taste of championship defeat, their hunger will grow and turn them into even more viable rivals to the Miami Heat’s...

LeBron James Just Hit The Reset Button On The NBA.
Welcome to the NBA Wonder Years.
Brought to you by LeBron King James, Self-Annointed Chosen One, His Royal Decider.
Today marks the end of the NBA as we know it. Michael Jordan’s legacy is now securely encased in carbonite. Magic Johnson and Larry Bird have given their blessing. It’s a day we all saw coming for over a decade.
LeBron James has claimed his throne.
Now his detractors...

2012 NBA Finals: Game Three
LeBron James closed the game out.
For one game, all of his ghosts went on vacation. There was no choking, no hesitation, only finishing. Only slashing to the crowded lane and dropping dramatic layins. Only splashing clutch jumpers and threes with Durant in his face.
Advantage LeBron.
It’s not that Durant made mistakes. He delivered his steady 20+ scoring performance. But LeBron, with...

Darvish versus Houston
Darvish responded well after the Rangers gave him eight days of rest. Maybe Texas should move to a seven-man rotation to closer simulate the kind of rest Darvish got in Japan. Fatigue and being able to handle the heavy demands of the major league calendar was a major concern surrounding Darvish’s signing. This experiment certainly proves a well-rested Darvish is a better rested Darvish....

2012 NBA Finals: Game Two
The basic storyline of flow and struggle felt like the summary of game one. The Heat come out with energy and jump to a comfortable lead, only to see it reduced in the fourth. LeBron James was able to save this storyline for the Miami Heat, but scoring some clutch, athletic baskets down the stretch.
For the Thunder, Durant and Westbrook were once again dominant. Westbrook has emerged this season...

2012 NBA Finals: Game One
Durant was blowing jazz on the hardwood. Speed jazz. His game was effortless and smooth, but highly calculated. He was like a guy playing pop-a-shot in the local arcade. Catch and release. There was no grinding the shot clock down like Kobe. Durant was decisive in a way that defenders couldn’t predict. And on top of that he has the length to not really be bothered by defenders hands. But,...

LeBron V. Durant
We are one hour away from the greatest NBA Finals matchup since Jordan went against Barkley in 1993.
In the years that have passed since that historic duel, a couple so-called dynasties have been marketed down our throats. But honestly, if you didn’t live in either San Antonio or Los Angeles, they only had a surface appeal. Michael Jordan mattered to everyone. You either loyally rooted for...
